About Me

I have been in love with jewelry for as long as I can remember, and started making it for myself, my friends and family more than 15 years ago. I've been working in jewelry "seriously" for about 6 years, making pieces on commission, and selling on consignment and through home parties. I began making chainmaille four years ago when a project caught my eye and imagination. I had instructions, but still couldn't make it work. Finally, I sat down and stared at the photo of the finished piece until suddenly, I got it. I saw how the pattern worked, how the rings related to each other. I was hooked. Every chain begins with a pile of rings, and two pair of pliers. I love the challenge of making armor look beautiful, and of finding ways to add beads onto (or into) the weaves. My goal is to push chainmaille beyond the Renaissance Festival, creating pieces that can be worn and appreciated by women everywhere. My work is available from Etsy at BeadJeweledKKG, at Maxima Gift Center in Arlington MA, Hourglass Gallery in Melrose MA, and at home parties (Eastern Massachusetts). I am a member of the Sign of the Dove Artisans Cooperative, and in November and December my work is available at the Dove's Holiday Store.

Current items on this site are available thru Etsy If you are interested in a custom item, please contact me byemail with your idea, and we can discuss. I love the challenge of custom orders! For an order of more than $35, or if I need to order materials, I ask for a 50% deposit. Orders are payable by PayPal invoice. You don't need to sign up for a PayPal account, and the process is quick and simple. If you do not want to use a credit card, we can discuss other arrangements. When ordering, please be sure to include the following information: Name, Full Billing/Shipping Address, Telephone Number, and Details of items requested. Thank you.

All pieces are handcrafted. Items shown are available to ship immediately, unless otherwise noted. Special orders may take up to 3 weeks, I will let you know the anticipated time frame when you order.

Items will be shipped via insured US Mail, and you will receive an email confirmation of shipment.
